Dan Benjamin

Dan BenjaminDr. Benjamin is one of the co-directors of the Social Science Genetic Association Consortium (together with David Cesarini and Philipp Koellinger). The consortium has and is conducting large-scale genome-wide association studies with a range of behavioural traits, including educational attainment, subjective well-being, and fertility.

In addition, Dr. Benjamin is developing methods of incorporating genetic data into economic analysis. His other work in behavioural economics includes developing methods of using survey measures of subjective well-being (such as happiness and life satisfaction) to track national well-being and evaluate policies, and understanding errors people make in statistical reasoning.
