Registration fees

Full and ECR registration fees include access to the conference venue, all conference sessions, access to all materials on the conference platform, refreshments & lunch on 19, 20 and 21 June (all meals will be vegetarian & vegan), evening events on 19 & 20 June (details will be announced shortly).

Virtual registration fee provides access to all materials on the conference platform, including abstracts, live stream presentations and session recordings for 28 days. To join the conference platform you will need a Zoom account and must use the email address linked to your Zoom account during registration.

  • Standard registration – £275
  • Early career researcher registration* – £200
  • On-line only registration – £75
  • Pre-conference course (in person only) – £60

Registration will open on 1 February 2024. All standard and early career researcher registrations made on or after 28 May will incur a late booking fee of £150 in addition to the registration fee.

  • Early career registration is for persons studying for a PhD or Masters or within 5 years of completing a PhD.

Abstract submission

Abstract submissions are now closed, and applicants have been notified.

We welcome contributions aligned with any of the conference themes, but will consider submissions in any area of the development, use and translation of Mendelian randomization.

Oral presentations will be a 10 minute talk with a further 5 minutes allowed for questions. Oral presentations can be given in-person or remotely, and all presenters will need to register at least 4 weeks before the event.

Please send your final presentation as a Powerpoint or pdf to mr-conference@bristol.ac.uk by 5pm, Monday 10 June 2024.

Poster presentations will be delivered in person only. Poster dimensions should be A0 (841mm x 1189mm) and in portrait format.

Accommodation

A limited number of rooms are available within the University Campus residential village. The price is £180 for three nights of 18, 19 and 20 June. This accommodation is room only with a private bathroom and with access to a shared kitchen.
